The biggest platform update since launch. Here's what just shipped and what's coming next.
Every quarter, we ship what our users ask for most. This spring, the asks converged on one theme: less noise, more signal. Smarter risk scores. Faster answers. More context for decisions that matter. Two major features live in your account today, and more are close behind.

WHAT'S LIVE NOW
Climate Risk 2.0 — A Rebuilt Engine
The risk score you see on every commodity page is now powered by a fundamentally different engine. Three years of work went into this release.
First: every crop's growing calendar has been rebuilt with sub-period precision. Helios AI now knows it's Fruit/Crop Fill season for cocoa in Peru in May, not just that it's May, and scores risks against that specific growth stage in real time.
Second: risk signals are now cross-referenced against a database of 500+ confirmed historical disruption events, matched against actual yield outcomes. When conditions spike, the platform surfaces comparisons like "The last time we saw this was in 2022; yields dropped 8%." That's a different kind of alert. It's not a warning; it's context.
Disruption Email Alerts — Risk in Your Inbox
Every morning, if risk has shifted across any commodity and country you track, you get a digest, grouped by commodity, showing exactly what changed and by how much. If nothing moves in your portfolio, nothing hits your inbox.
No configuration. No setup. Powered by the same Climate Risk 2.0 engine: crop-stage awareness, compound risk modeling, and historical event matching work together.
And one more thing: two new commodities are now live on the platform, lentils and chickpeas, expanding coverage to regions representing ~90% of global lentil export volume.

WHAT'S COMING NEXT
More Features in the Pipeline
We gave a first look at two of these at the April demo webinar. Here's the full picture of what's coming.
Disruption Impact Center
Climate risk tells you what's happening. The Impact Center tells you what it means. Every active disruption is tracked from early signal to confirmed market event with quantified yield decline and global supply impact at every stage. When drought hits Côte d'Ivoire during cocoa's critical flowering phase, you see the estimated yield drop and the resulting global supply reduction, not just a risk score.
Supply & Yield
Ten years of historical data, three-year forward forecasts, a new Yield tab, and production and area harvested side by side across commodities and countries. The question isn't just how much is being produced. It's whether farmers are harvesting less land or getting less out of the land they're harvesting. Those two situations have very different supply implications.
Pricing Accuracy
Historical accuracy dots are plotted on every price chart, showing exactly what Helios AI predicted one month before any given date and how that prediction compared to reality. Alongside them, a forward price range band that widens honestly as uncertainty grows. Trust is built in.
AI-Powered Rating Explanations
An AI-generated narrative at the top of every country and regional crop page, synthesizing weather patterns, yield outlook, and crop development stage into plain language. No more cross-referencing four charts to piece together why a rating moved.
This is the deepest we've ever shipped in a single release cycle. The full technical breakdown, including model accuracy stats, configuration options, and rollout timelines, is in the release notes.
